Purpose : The Perceval Sutureless valve is a new type of valve that allows rapid deployment, thus shortening the operation time for implantation. This video shows new application of the Perceval Sutureless valve in Bentall procedure
Methods : A 70-year-old male patient visited our clinic with dyspnea. On echocardiography, he was diagnosed severe aortic valve regurgitation with dilated sinus of valsalva. We decided Bentall procedure with bio-prosthesis
Results : After interrupted pledgets suture on aortic root, 26mm-sized graft was attached to aortic root. Anastomosis of the both coronary artery was performed next. Perceval Sutureless Aortic Bioprosthesis was implanted and balloon dilatation was performed through graft.
Conclusion : The Bio-Bentall procedure using a Perceval Sutureless Aortic Bioprosthesis allows secure anastomosis of coronary opening to graft and shortening the cardiopulmonary bypass time.
